Elections: Federal High Court judges get fresh order
He gave the order on Tuesday in a new practice direction entitled: “Federal High Court of Nigeria Practice Directions 2020″.The court’s annual vacation bagan on July 27 and would end on September 25.
The salient provisions in the new direction are as follows: “Nothing in the Federal High Court Rules, 2019 shall prevent a Judge of the Court from hearing a pre-election matter already pending before the Court, during the vacation period until judgment is delivered.
