The Director General, National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Yushau Dogara Ahmed, has reassured corps members participating in the March 18 governorship and State Assembly elections of adequate security and welfare. He gave the reassurance in a congratulatory message delivered through all State coordinators, noting that the security and welfare of corps members is his utmost priority in the coming election.

He gave the reassurance in a congratulatory message delivered through all State coordinators, noting that the security and welfare of corps members is his utmost priority in the coming election. The DG further stated that a toll free distress phone number “6972” has been launched at the Directorate’s headquarters and made available to Corps members for emergency purposes during the election.
According to him: “I have received real time reports of your conduct across the nation and personally supervised the exercise in Plateau State and wish to commend you for once again, sustaining the good image of the scheme just like your predecessors did in the past. “As another round of electoral exercise approaches, I urge you to sustain your commitment and dedication to your assigned duties and never be involved in acts that will undermine your integrity and the image of the scheme.”
