Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has declared Friday a half working day for civil servants in the state.He made this known in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, a copy of which was made available to DAILY POST.
This according to him is to allow the civil and public servants prepare for the gubernatorial and state houses of assembly elections in the state. He said that the workers are expected to close at 12pm but that only essential workers are expected to remain at their duty posts beyond 12pm on Friday.
