The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has arrived in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, where he will cast his vote on Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Presidential Election day.
The campaign rallies which were concluded in Lagos on Tuesday has seen Buhari presenting the flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, as his preferred successor, and his running mate, Kashim Ibrahim.
In July that year, he handpicked a former Governor of Borno State, Northeast Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, as his running mate.However, the majority of Nigerians are familiar with four of those candidates.
