Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, said yesterday that military operations especially air strikes vanquished armed bandits, a situation that led to improved security in the state.
The governor spoke when he paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Air Staff , Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, at the NAF Headquarters in Abuja. “On behalf of the government and people of Kaduna State, I came to thank the Chief of the Air Staff, branch chiefs, air officers commanding, officers and men of the Nigerian Air Force for the excellent work done and still being done in Kaduna State. The security situation in our State and environs has improved drastically. Please keep up the excellent work,” he said.
He further stated that the NAF would continue to do its best to make the country safe and secure in line with the constitutional responsibilities.
