A former chairman, Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers and the Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, Oba Adebanji Alabi, has urged the state governor, Biodun Oyebanji, to take decisive action on the repair of the failed portion on Ado Ekiti – Ilawe Ekiti Road.

The traditional ruler, who praised the state government for embarking on repair of a failed drainage in another part of the road, urged the government “to direct the site contractor to immediately commence work on the big gulf which has become a death trap”.spoke in Ilawe Ekiti on Monday during a dinner that he organised for eminent indigenes of the town.Oba Alabi said that he had implicit confidence in the governor, Oyebanji, that he would take urgent action on the road.
