• PTF lauds Ogun, promises adequate refund of spent funds
The state’s Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Mrs. Mojisola Yaya-Kolade, who disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the COVID-19 task force update in Ado-Ekiti, said that the five people were discovered out of the 53 primary contacts of the old woman who was referred to the FETHI from the General Hospital, Omu-Aran, Kwara State.
In another development, Osun State government has provided palliatives for students in tertiary institutions in the state and cautioned them against gathering in public. He said that the closure of schools should be a strong signal to the students that the pandemic is a serious disaster. Meanwhile, the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has described the efforts of the Ogun State government towards curtailing the coronavirus pandemic as exemplary.
