Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi on Wednesday said he has tested positive for coronavirus.
Others who have tested positive in the last four months include Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and his Kaduna State counterpart, Nasir el-Rufai. Akeredolu was the last Nigerian governor to test positive for COVID-19 before Fayemi announced his positive test. The Ondo State governor recovered from the virus within ten days.
