The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has deployed about 2,000 operatives to man roads in Ogun State as the Eid-el-Kabir festival holds on Wednesday, June
This is as the FRSC, Ogun Sector Command, commenced the Eid-el-Kabir special operations on Monday.
The operation, according to Okpe, would focus on dangerous driving, overtaking, speeding, line indiscipline, seat belt violation, lack of passengers manifest, use of phone while driving, drunk driving among others. She advised motorists traveling during this period to celebrate with their families and friends to adhere to traffic rules and regulations.
The agency appealed to motorists to demonstrate the reason for the season by sharing roads responsibly, considering other road users and obeying traffic rules.
