Eid-el-Kabir: Pray for an end to COVID-19 pandemic – FCT Minister
The Minister made the call in a goodwill Sallah message made available to DAILY POST by his Chief Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye, on Thursday in Abuja.
He also urged the residents of Abuja to keep adhering strictly to COVID-19 protocol, adding that it still remains a highly infectious and deadly disease. “l would also like to remind our Muslim brothers and sisters that the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir is significant because it is a festival of sharing and caring for the less fortunate members of the society and urge them to use the occasion to reach out to the needy, especially those who have been negatively impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
