Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has assured Muslims and the people of the state that his administration shall continue to uphold the religious rights
of every citizen and provide an enabling environment for the sustenance of peace and harmony amongst all those living in the State.
He further challenged the Muslim faithfuls to assist the Government to fish out the bad eggs amongst them whose aim is to create unnecessary religious tension in the State, noting that the Muslims in the State have been great advocates of peace and have remained law abiding. In a Sallah message on Tuesday, Ogah felicitated with all Muslim faithful across the country, wishing them the blessings and guidance of Allah.
He further underlined that the federal government was committed to overcoming current challenges facing the country, particularly security, socio-economic, and public health arising from COVID-19. According to Senator Kalu, “It is a season of self-appraisal as individuals in the service of Allah and humanity.
