Gombe State governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, yesterday joined the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, and other Muslim Ummah in the
state to observe the Eid 2- Rakaat eid prayer to mark the commencement of Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebration in Gombe.
The governor had earlier in a goodwill message, enjoined the people of the state to imbibe the lessons of Eid el-Kabir which connote sacrifice, love, unity and obedience and demonstrate same in their daily lives for the good of the society and humanity at large.
