Eid-el-fitr: Oyetola suspends congregational prayers in Osun .
Oyetola, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, on Saturday in Osogbo, said that the suspension became necessary in other to flatten the curve of COVID-19 and prevent community transmission.
He urged residents of the state to celebrate the Eid-el-fitr festival with moderation and in compliance with the subsisting COVID-19 rules and regulations of the state government. While felicitating with Muslims on the Eid-el-fitr celebration, the governor urged them to show love and support to the less privileged whose livelihood had been affected by the pandemic.
