EFCC grills NEPC secretary for nine hours over contract fraud

THE Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Mrs Yewande Sadiku, was on Monday, grilled for over nine hours by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.The NEPC boss arrived at the headquarters of the anti-graft agency in Abuja around 11am and was grilled till past 7pm by a team of operatives of the commission over wide ranging corruption issues.

A source said Sadiku was questioned over abuse of office, contract fraud running into several millions of naira, and unearned frivolous allowances.
