EFCC can invite me anytime, I’m not afraid – Ortom

Benue State Governor, Samuel OrtomThe outgoing governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, has said that he is not going to run away from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission anytime he is invited.

Ortom made the declaration on Friday during the valedictory session held at the old Banquet hall of Government House, Makurdi. The governor who encouraged his council members not to entertain any fear if the anti-graft agency invite anyone of them said that he was ready to honour any invitation from EFCC anytime, any day.

He said, “Anytime you are invited by EFCC, don’t be afraid to go; as for me, I am not a coward that runs away from EFCC, if they come for me, I will follow them. I don’t have any investment in Europe. All I have are in this state.
