In a bid to tackle immigration fraud and its accompanying reputational damage it is causing Nigeria, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has set up an Immigration Fraud Section in some of its Commands across the country. Chairman of the Commission, Mr.

Abdallah, while explaining the rationale of his visit to the EFCC, stated that the RCMP delegation was in Nigeria to explore ways of collaboration and partnership with the Commission. “I want to pitch the idea and see how we can potentially come to collaborate. Our collaboration has been solid on the operations side, and we hope to enhance it by working together in terms of advancing what would be beneficial to Nigeria and the whole region,” he said.

The EFCC Chairman noted that the Commission has come a long way, with over two decades of experience, emerging as the foremost anti-corruption agency in Africa in terms of capacity, facility, acumen, and professionalism. He disclosed that the Commission continues to draw strength from synergy and collaboration with other law enforcement agencies across the world.

The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board has officially released the results of its just concluded computer-based tests. This was disclosed in a statement by the Executive Chairman of the Board, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, on Wednesday in Ibadan.
