The EFCC’s Counsel, Sanusi Galadanchi, told the court that the defendant defrauded Alhaji Kamoru Atilola of N3 million by converting Atilola’s money to his personal use.

Galadanchi said that Atilola trusted the defendant and gave him the money to keep, but the defendant betrayed the trust by converting it to his personal use.He said that the offence contravened Section 390 of the Criminal Code Cap. 38, Vol.2, Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
