Edo PDP Welcomes Tinubu’s Removal Of Fuel Subsidy

The leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has commended President Bola Tinubu for the decision to remove fuel subsidy and floating of the

The party said the two economic policies were spot on, adding that it is the best way to go round the economy that has been grounded.

The chairman of the Edo State chapter of the party, Dr Tony Aziegbemi who disclosed this during an interactive session with journalists in Benin City also said these two economic policies alone will give the country in the excess of N2 trillion. He however cautioned that the palliatives arising from the subsidies removal would determine the success of the economic policies.

On why he is commending rival APC-led federal government, Aziegbemi said: “It’s the paradigm shift in policies that we are bringing onboard in the PDP.
