Edo PDP holds LG congresses March 7
The Peoples Democratic Party in Edo State would on March 7, 2020 hold its local government congresses.Those seeking to replace Chief Orbih are Chief Omi Imoisili, Hon Tony Azegbemin and Engr. Fred Okah.
The Edo PDP earlier postponed the congresses from February 9 after an High Court in Ekpoma restrained the party from accepting results from its Ward congresses.Edo Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Chris Nehikhare, tòld our reporter that issues that made some party members secured restraining order have been resolved.
Nehikhare debunked fears that caretake committee would be set up after the tenure of Chief Orbih elapsed.
