Edo/Ondo guber: APC makes clarifications on Oshiomhole anointing candidates
The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Working Committee, NWC, has said it lacked the powers to endorse any aspirant, ahead of the primary elections in Edo and Ondo States.
A statement by APC’s spokesperson, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, described the alleged endorsements as false. “The APC is not in the business of endorsing aspirants. As a progressive party, our ultimate guiding principle is strict adherence to the tenets of participatory democracy. “Our responsibility as the National Working Committee is to provide level playing ground for every eligible aspirant to contest for the ticket.
