The Edo Muslim Youths Advocacy Initiative has said the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led government will usher remarkable progress, unity, and prosperity to the people of the State.
The group made the remarks while commending the governor for appointing Barrister Musa Umar Ikhilor as the first Muslim Secretary to the Edo State since the inception of the present democratic dispensation in 1999. A statement by the coordinator of the group, Saheed Mahmud made available to newsmen in Benin City said the appointment of Musa Ikhilor as the Secretary to the State Government marks a new leadership in the state.
According to him, the proven intellect, dedication, and vision of the new secretary to the State government, Musa Ikhilor makes him an ideal choice for the position of SSG as he is known for his integrity and commitment to public service. 'He has consistently demonstrated that he has the insight and capability to contribute meaningfully to the development of Edo State.
