BENIN CITY – THE members of the Legacy Group of the Peoples Democratic Party led by the National Vice Chairman, South-South of the party, Chief Dan Orbih have commended the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress , Sen Monday Okpebholo for jointly mobilizing the federal government to begin rehabilitation work in the Benin-Auchi –Okenne just as they said they can only work for the PDP in coming governorship election if Governor Godwin Obaseki is able to show them what he has done...
Orbih stated this in Irrua in Esan Central local government area where the group held its Edo Central meeting. A similar meeting has been held in Edo South and Edo North. Orbih said that a lot of members of the PDP in Edo state were dissatisfied with the state of the party as well as the government, alleging that the government of Godwin Obaseki had not worked for the people adding that he made efforts to convince Obaseki to carry out rehabilitation on the road without success.
“If they can treat you the way they treated you, imagine what it will be if we have to allow them to continue. I can see pain and anger in the face of the people”, he stated.
