Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, has met with the party’s governorship candidate in Edo State, Olumide Akpata.He wished Akpata well in his quest to succeed Godwin Obaseko as the next governor of Edo State.
Obi’s meeting with Akpata is coming amid rumours that the former Anambra governor had dumped the LP governorship candidate. His words: “The Labour Party in Edo State has so far demonstrated every contradictory arrangement to what Obidients believe in, and that is why we have to urgently inform the people that they shouldn’t be misled.
