The Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, says politicians in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, threatening a bloodbath in the ongoing Edo State governorship election are living in a fool's paradise. Oshiomhole stated this shortly before casting his vote in Iyamoh Primary School, Ward 10 PU1, Etsako West LGA.

The Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole , says politicians in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, threatening a bloodbath in the ongoing Edo State governorship election are living in a fool's paradise. Oshiomhole stated this shortly before casting his vote in Iyamoh Primary School, Ward 10 PU1, Etsako West LGA. He expressed happiness and prayed that the election remains peaceful. According to him, the integrity of the electoral process is more important than the outcome.

“A couple of people have called me, telling me they have started voting. I asked about the environment, and they said it is peaceful. I am very certain that the situation will prevail everywhere as I pray it is going. “Some people are threatening that there will be violence. One of the acting national chairmen said they are going to do bloodbath and so on. He is in Abuja and he is wishing they could do that kind of thing.
