The Nation Newspaper Edo 2024: Why PDP's Ighodalo will win gov election on Sept 21, by Attoh

The chairman of Etsako East local government council of Edo state, Princess Benedicta Attoh, has said that the governorship candidate of theAttoh in a press statement by her chief press secretary, Benjamin Atu, stated that Ighodalo, a Lagos-based lawyer, and ally of Governor Godwin Obaseki, has the capacity, intellect, brilliance and capability to succeed Obaseki on November 12 this year, thereby moving Edo forward, by building on the incumbent governor’s solid foundation.

“Dr. Asue Ighodalo is the most prepared for the job of governance, with a ready template for Edo State to wean itself from the debilitating dependence on oil revenue, through deliberate diversification measures to create jobs and open up opportunities for public participation in governance. Etsako East LG council chairman also called on Edo residents to embrace the appealing vision of the standard bearer of PDP, which she assured would create an economic value chain, support local businesses, expand health and educational infrastructure across the state, and with emphasis to be placed on human capital development.

“The wealth of a state is measured by the value of goods and services that the economy produces, and it is in this production process that employment will be generated for Edo’s youths. This is what it takes to develop an economy and impact the lives of ordinary people, and promote commerce and industry. Edo is in safe hands with Dr. Asue Ighodalo.”
