The All Progressives Congress Governorship Primary Election Committee led by Hope Uzodinma has submitted its report on Edo primary election to the party’s National Working Committee.
Presenting the report on behalf of the committee, the Secretary of the panel, Senator Ajibola Bashir, said the committee conducted its assignment in line with the COVID-19 prevention protocols.
He said members conducted themselves peacefully and at the end of the exercise, Pastor Ize-Iyamu emerged winner after defeating two other contenders. In response, the National Vice Chairman , Hilliard Eta, who stood in for the acting National Chairman, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, expressed the party’s gratitude to the committee for a job well done.
He promised to submit the report to the appeal committee, which will after looking at the processes submit its report to the NWC for further action.
