Eddie McGuire has stepped down from Saturday’s AFL commentating duties over comments he made about double-amputee plane crash survivor Cynthia Banham for her coin toss.

The Collingwood president yesterday raised the prospect of introducing a $5000 fine for anyone who ‘can't do the toss properly’. Ms Banham, a former Sydney Morning Herald journalist, had both legs amputated after a plane crash in Indonesia in 2007. Image: News Corp Australia
