Easter: Pray for God’s intervention on COVID-19 – Gov. Sule charges Christians
Sule made the call in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen on Friday in Lafia ahead of the Easter Celebration, NAN reports.
”As Christians the world over celebrate this year’s Easter, I, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, the Governor, on behalf of the Government and people of Nasarawa State congratulate the clergy and all Christian faithful in commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. “I call on Christians and other Nigerians to use this Easter period to reflect on the good teachings of Christ that preach forgiveness, sacrifice and tolerance.
”May your sacrifices and abstinence during the Lenten season bring peace, unity, good health and progress to our great state,’’ the Governor said.
