With the leagues in Europe still gathering momentum, Nigerian players in different clubs are gradually getting into their rhythm

, but there are few among them who are already up and running with their clubs, writes ABIODUN ADEWALEComing from Norway’s Lillestrøm, former U-20 striker Adams caught the eye with his epic unveiling by Montpellier, who linked up with former Super Eagles winger John Utaka to announce their new man. Adams then announced his own arrival to the French Ligue 1 in style, as he netted a brace on his debut, before scoring again in their 4-1 win over Lyon.

The Nigerian began the season from where he stopped last term, finishing off a superb team move in their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal on the opening day of the Premier League, before grabbing his second of the season in their 2-1 win over Sheffield United last Friday. The striker, who scored 10 goals last season to help Forest escape relegation, is already up and running again this season.
