Nantes forward Moses Simon is excited at the prospect of working with Gernot Rohr for another two years, The PUNCH reports.
On Wednesday, the Nigerian Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick, confirmed that Rohr had signed a new two-year deal that would see him continue as coach of the team until December 31, 2022.
“It’s a good decision from the NFF to hand the coach a new deal. It’s also a boost for him and the entire team. But we now need to work harder to achieve something better than what we have done with him,” Simon told The PUNCH. John Ogu also described report of Rohr’s contract extension as great news for the country’s football.
