It will feature five ordinary Nigerians representing the All Progressives Congress , Labour Party , People’s Democratic Party , New Nigeria People’s Party , and Peoples Redemption Party .While moderated by Edgar, the representatives will debate on issues such as the economy, security, health, and education.The announcement of the town hall meeting comes a few weeks before the general election in Nigeria as candidates campaign to the masses.
But Mahmood Yakubu, chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission recently assured that the commission has no such plans. “The commission is not contemplating, let alone planning to postpone the 2023 general election. We’re going ahead to conduct it as scheduled,” Yakubu said.
