The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, has said the test result of a Dubai returnee he earlier announced died from the coronavirus, is still being awaited.
Abayomi, in a tweet on Wednesday, said, “The death of a recent Dubai returnee previously announced on my social media handles earlier, was a presumed COVID-19 related death.
Earlier, the Dubai returnees, who were being isolated in a hotel in Lekki, were said to have challenged the commissioner when he visited them around 12pm on Wednesday. The returnees, during the protest, also lamented the quality of food being given to them, which they said was not fit for human consumption.
