You can now customise DualSense Edge inputs on PC via the PlayStation Accessories app. May be useful for when you're not gaming on Steam.
The DualSense Edge, PlayStation's answer to the Xbox Elite series of controllers, released early last year, with a surprising degree of customisability. That being said, you needed the PS5 in order to access some of these, including the back paddle input, and the separate profiles for these. That has changed recently, with these functions being made available on PC via the PlayStation Accessories software.
PlayStation made the announcement via its account on X, previously Twitter. For those who already have PlayStation Accessories installed previously, an update should suffice rather than needing a full reinstall. Despite the new version though, the app only works for customising inputs for the base DualSense as well as the DualSense Edge.On one hand, the additional utility is always appreciated.
At any rate, if you want to start customising your DualSense Edge on PC, you can download the PlayStation Accessories software by hitting the link below. Or as mentioned, update it if you already have it installed.
