Tens of thousands of workers were estimated to have returned to their jobs after Metro Manila eased to Alert Level 2, says Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez

More establishments have been allowed to operate under Alert Level 2, while businesses that have been permitted to open before were granted higher additional capacities. Minors may also engage in intrazonal and interzonal travel under the said classification. With this, Lopez appealed to business owners and mall operators to strictly observe minimum public health standards to prevent a surge in cases which will lead again to the re-tightening of quarantine measures.
