The governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, on Sunday, constituted a Borno Flood Relief Committee to ensure the appropriate distribution of items and funds to those affected by the recent flooding in the state.
A statement by Borno's Secretary to the State Government, Bukar Tijjani, said the committee is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring no victim is left out in the disbursement of funds and relief materials across Maiduguri. He said the governor has also admonished members of the committee to handle their responsibilities with utmost dedication and transparency,
