Witnesses told police the driver had pushed another person out of their vehicle
An 18-year-old is facing multiple charges after Sault Ste. Marie Police say a person was struck trying to help someone who had been pushed out of a vehicle.“Upon arrival, officers learned the driver, who witnesses identified as the accused, had pushed another person out of their vehicle,” police alleged in a news release.
“When friends of the person who was pushed from the vehicle attempted to come to their aid, the driver turned around and sped away, striking a victim with the vehicle while exiting the parking lot.”Officers were able to track down the vehicle they believed was involved and arrest a suspect.Gage Lothrop has been charged with:None of the allegations have been tested in court and Lothrop is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
