Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said the draft of the government’s revised water concession contracts may possibly be finalized within a period of six months.
In an interview with CNN Philippines, Guevarra said the contract “does not exist as of the moment,” but they have already prepared a “matrix” of what provisions should be removed from the previous contract.
Included in the matrix were the proposed improvements to make the contract “equitable” to both the water concessionaires and the government, according to Guevarra.
