DPR shuts 17 illegal LPG outlets, warns 9 petrol stations in Ibadan

The Operations Controller of Ibadan Field Office of DPR, Mr. Oluyemi Olaonipekun, made this disclosure while speaking with journalists.

He said, “The exercise is continuous and we will continue to improve as well as carry out the necessary assignments as stipulated by the regulations and oil guidelines. “To this end, we have not been able to close down any filling station due to unnecessary under-dispensing of the pumps. “In the last three months, we have been able to stop illegal installation of LPG skid and closed down 17 illegally installed skids from operating within our area of operations, that is Oyo State.
