Elder statesman and former national chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dr Bamanga Tukur has described the death of media mogul, High Chief Raymond

Tukur, a former governor of old Gongola State, while expressing deep sorrow over Dokpesi’s death last Monday, further described it as a monumental calamity to Nigeria, black nations and the world at large.The Tafida of Adamawa recalled that he worked with Dokpesi for so many years with a high level of loyalty and trust- and even ended up serving him as his Personal Assistant and confidant, while he was the Governor of the Old Gongola State – now split into Adamawa and Taraba states.

On the political front, Tukur said he relied very much on the support and trust of Dokpesi while he served as the National Chairman of PDP.
