The Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria has urged both federal and state governments to intensify the COVID-19 fight to prevent the pandemic from degenerating from community transmission to the micro level.

Speaking at the presentation, Akinola expressed concern about the claims by some state governors that the pandemic has not got to their states.
