DOH says to speed up COVID19 testing with more labs, 120,000 test kits

MANILA — The Department of Health on Saturday assured the public that it was “accelerating its COVID-19 testing capacity” as the number of cases in the Philippines continued to rise.

The Western Visayas Medical Center and the Bicol Public Health Laboratory are also being prepared for testing. “More laboratories will be assessed across all regions after this first round is completed,” DOH said.
