THE Philippines logged for the fourth straight day over 2,000 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 .
Of the confirmed cases in the country, 32,077 patients or 1.1 percent are still active or recovering from the disease. The death toll, however, continued to increase, with 91 new mortalities on Monday, bringing the total to 44,521. The DOH said majority or 64.7 percent of the cases have mild symptoms, 5.8 percent were asymptomatic, 16.09 percent were moderate, 9.5 percent were severe and four percent were critical.
