The Ezendigbo of Oyo State, Alex Anozie has advised Igbos and Yorubas not to allow enemies cause division among the people of Southern Nigeria.
He described the development as unhealthy for peaceful and harmonious co-existence among different ethnic groups in Southern Nigeria. He urged leaders of the two ethnic groups to swing into action to ensure that those who he described as political satanic forces working to destroy the South do not succeed.
“It is not true that we cannot live in peace in Nigeria. Religious leaders who are preaching deceit, confusion and false prophesies should please stop, in the interest of our peace.
