The inauguration took place today at the Muhammadu Dikko Township Stadium, Katsina.

The 52-year-old governor defeated Senator Yakubu Danmarke of the Peoples Democratic Party, who had earlier threatened to file a suit to challenge the victory of Dikko.

Dikko and his deputy, Faruk Lawal Jobe, took the oath of office administered by the State’s Chief Judge, Danladi Abubakar between 10:40 am – 10:45 am, in the presence of the former governor, Aminu Bello Masari, and his deputy, Muntari Lawal.All rights reserved.
