At a media briefing held at the state NUJ Secretariat yesterday, APC said the state government was not working in the interest of the people.
The APC team led by the deputy state party chairman, Alhaji Shehu Maigari said the demolition was uncalled for since the people acquired their land and developed it with their hard-earned money, and wondered how that becomes a crime. He said politics shouldn’t be allowed to play here since the lives of people are at stake.
“No doubt the action of the NNPP led administration is signalling a bad impression for the citizens as well as those trouping to Kano for various business and commercial undertakings.” The APC stated that the action of the government had brought an unnecessary chaos, rampant vandalism, broad day light stealing, and innocent grabbing of innocent people’s properties by the youths.
