The Divisional Police Officer of ‘B’ Division, Warri, Delta State, CSP Umar Onana has requested support from traditional rulers, civil society organisations, youths leaders and other stakeholders in the area to curb cultism, kidnapping, and other heinous crimes in the state.
The police boss also warned criminal elements in Warri and its environs to relocate from the division or repent in their own interest, threatening that he is out to fight the anti-cult war in the state frontally. CSP Onana, who has just assumed duty in the division, made the appeal and warning when he paid courtesy visit to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Warri Correspondents Chapel where he specifically called for active support from media practitioners and other whistle blowers in crime bursting activities.
