The Delta State Police Command has presented cheques worth more than N33 million to families of policemen who died while on active duty in the state police command.made the presentation Friday at the state police headquarters in Asaba, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police , Mr Alkali Baba Usman.The commissioner thanked the I-G for the gesture, which he said testified to the fact that the I-G has the welfare of officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force at heart at all times.
