An elder statesman and leader of the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum, SMBLF, has told the governor of Delta State, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa to step down as the Vice-Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Clark stated this on Thursday at a news conference in Abuja, claiming that Okowa running as Atiku's Vice-Presidential candidate was contrary to the South-South Forum's resolution that the presidency must shift from the North to the South in 2023. He said, “Okowa has betrayed his colleagues in the Southern Governors Forum and the south generally.
