In a bid to checkmate the rising rates of Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration, the Delta State government has inaugurated a 17-man Task Force on Anti- Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration.

While describing the issue of Trafficking as a threats to the future of Delta State, he declared that it is important to change the mindset of the youths who are largely involved in such practices. According to Mrakpor, “We need to tell the youths you do not need to be trafficked or travel illegally to be successful”.

While he warned that State Government would not spare any individual found guilty of such crimes. He then pleaded with Deltans to verify facts before putting up petitions, thereby urging them to partner the State Government in reducing the menance facing the state.
