The Delta State Sports Commission has assured a successful hosting of the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoffs.
Chairman of the commission, Tonobok Okowa, gave the assurance in a chat with the media on the readiness of the state at hosting a hitch free competition. Okowa also expressed optimism that the tournament will be competitive and also lure more fans to the stadium.“With notable names in Nigerian football like; Heartland, Kano Pillars, Katsina United, already here [Asaba] for the NNL Super 8 the competition will be highly competitive,” he stated in a chat with the media.
“We don’t want an empty stadium. We also want good football, and I believe the teams will give the fans exactly that.Four teams will gain promotion from the competition to the Nigeria Premier League.
